Un venezolano ganó la medalla de oro en el “Mundial de Circo”

Aimé Morales tiene 28 años y es oriundo de Mérida. Fue la gran sensación del último Mundial del Circo que se llevó a cabo en el Circo Phénix de París a finales de enero. En esa competencia donde se dan cita los mejores artistas circenses y malabaristas del planeta, el venezolano deslumbró con un número de una extrema sencillez de medios: en la pista estaban él y un aro cyr, una disciplina creada hace apenas una década.

Este espectáculo cautivó al jurado que le entregó tres premios, entre ellos, la Medalla de Oro de este mundial, así como el Premio del Público. Era la primera vez que Venezuela participaba en esta competencia internacional.
